Aquarium setup and DEVICES do nothing

Hi,

I got a reeflink and do not manage to make it work. It seems to be recognized and logs properly, I get all the leds in blue. I get the new tab with the REEFLINK that seems to be OK, but Radions and Vortechs do not pop up neither with the Aquarium setup nor the DEVICES tab.

In the process I tried to factory reset the radions pro G2 and upload new firmware.

Now I am trying the basics to install the radions with the USB cable. I created a new profile and started the Live Connection manager that shows that it is connected to scosmartlive and that the radions are connected, but when I log into ESL there is no way to locate the radions, both aquarium setup and DEVICES do nothing. I have the same problem as with the reeflink, no way to make radions and Vortechs to be discovered.

Thanks in advance for any help

I have a very weird situation.

I can connect to the radions through reeflink and it is possible to reset the radion connected with USB to the reeflink, but the firmware update fails and ESL does not find any device via reeflink, I cannot set up a tank at all

If I remove the reeflink from the account and try the standard way I have the same, no devices are found by ESL and cannot set up a tank. In this case it is possible to factory set them and also update the firmware.

I can do nothing now, the radions go to maximum power and then they power down from alone slowly.

I tried three different computers with windows 7, 8 and 10 and even created a new account in ESL.

Thanks, I am in Europe. I will try to go to my dealer to see if the mac version is better.

I am also experiencing that the secondary menus of the connection manager 1.08.004 for the firmware update make all the pop ups to disappear. Also tried with 3 different computers and windows versions.

I miss the possibility to store in my computer a software version that works with my lamps and pumps. With this system everytime there is a new software.

what browser are you using? I find that chrome works the best with esl. I had the same issues you describe when using IE and Safari. Once I switched to chrome its been flawless.

I am using chrome.

I visited my dealer with the radions, my computer and using the access point of my mobile phone it was possible to set up everything very quickly with reeflink.

I cannot explain why it does not work with a direct cable connection, it did not work with the mac of my dealer either, still empty devices screen, but most of the problems I think that are due to interferences. There are many wifi networks where I live and when I reproduce the set-up I made at the place of my dealer all the problems start. Reeflink takes longer to connect, it does not recognize devices, and so on. I may try later in the night that the networks are more quiet.

All in all I think this is a very complicated way to set up a lamp. We need Internet, a computer, a browser to load Java scripts, a mobile, the application is downloaded every time. Too many sources of error. I prefer a simple controler :-) Anyway thanks for the help.
