Aquarium Transfer Question

Hi Everyone,

I am moving all of the inhabitants from one tank into another. The tank currently has soft corals, macroalgae, and hardy captive-bred seahorses. I plan on putting all of my current live rock into the new sump and then making a new rock formation with base rock and live rock using marco cement. I will then attach my corals to the new rock structure.

I am contemplating using live rock in the new design, but I am afraid because it will dry out. Should I be worried about a huge nutrient spike? I was planning on transferring everything, including the water, to the new tank and adding a ton of stability bacterial cultures to help with the transfer.

Thank You,
Brandon
