Aquascape first or cure the rock first or the other way around

I have a new Reef Saver rock and have some time to cure it while I'm working at my other project before I get to build the tank. Should I aquascape before curing it, or cure the rock first and then aquascape. In the best scenario I would like to cure it first then take some time to aquascape, but then again I would probably loose all of the beneficial bacteria. Can you point me the right direction. Thanks

As long as the rock doesn't dry out, it won't lose the bacteria from the cure.

I would put the 'in formation' before the cycle. That gives you a chance to see how it looks and if there are any flow issues while waiting.

If this is BRS Reef Saver Rock then the only "curing" I would do is a quick muriatic acid bath to remove any stored PO4. After that, aquascape to your liking, fill the tank and begin the cycling process.
