Aquascaping

I'm looking at setting up my biocube 14 at work as a softy/low stress tank at work. I'd like to keep the rock work feeling "light" by having a "bonsai" style (arms of rock work stretching out, balancing rocks, etc.). I have two huge rocks in there right now (just storing them - wet, cooking I suppose, though rather unintentionally).

1) What is a good way to cut wet live rock to make slabs and arms from and
2) What is a good way to connect or bind them. I have some aquascaping putty; however I don't know if it will be strong enough to hold a arm.

A hack saw will work just fine and use a drill and some type of plastic or acrylic dowel rod in conjunction with two part epoxy and super glue to both sides your connecting together. This makes for really elaborate styles of scaping and is pretty rock solid when you get the technique down.
