Aquascaping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How many frickin times did you aquascape your tank before you were happy. I finally got my 54 corner scaped perfect then the tank broke. Now I have upgraded to A 180gal and I have aquascaped 3 time in the last 4 months and I am still not happy any Ideas any help?

For a new tank, I stir my sand up until I can't see it and then just put the rocks in the best I can. When the sand clears, I turn a few rocks a little to make sure that I have lots of places to put frags.

I've got a 90 full of corals and STILL am changing the aquascaping and it's been up for 4 months. I'd say I've done it no less than 8 times already and STILL am not sure I like the way it is! LOL

I have tons of coral and it is such a pain to move the rock and not frag a coral or kill a shrimp or fish. I do think I will try one more time. Boy do I dread it.

I've done it about 10 times and still not happy when I see some rocks or coral out of place. It can be extremely stressful sometime when I spended hours of making it looks better than the original set up but end up...looking worse. If you remove a piece of coral or rock and try to place it back in the same place...it will never look the same. Msuzuki126 is right, only looks good when it's full of coral and rocks.

I change mine around from time to time. It's hard though with the wife screaming "Are you messing around with that damn tank again!?"

*sigh*

I've had my share of frustration with aquascaping. I have come to realize that if you run out of ideas and get frustrated, it's best to let go of it for a day, do other stuff, not look at the tank at all, then come back next day and try again.
Sometimes the frustration alone makes bad design choices.

my wife messes with me too." I thought you were done with the rock and liked it the way it was" Also for some reason when I work on my tanks and have my hands in the tank for 3 or more hours I usually get sick. Not sure what gets me but one time I worked on my tank from sun up to sun down and I got real sick, nusea, cold hands, difficulty breathing, elevated heart rate and uncontrolable shivering. Wife nearly took me to th E.R. but I was stuborn and refused to go.

if there wasn't so much life on my rock I'd take it all out and put it together out of the tank then put it back in, but I have various coral attached to most my rock and don't want to kill anything!!
