I wonder if you plug in the auxillary power input if that would also provide backup? I have two transformers too. I feel better about two than one, that's for sure.
It's too bad the aquasurf can't be plugged in as the last piece of control equipment. I can do without the tunze control for a day, but if the controller stops talking to the heater it could spell trouble.
