I have owned this book for over 20 years now but have not yet built a tank. Does Anyone else have this on their bookshelf? -Adam

Technology has changed in the last year let alone 20. That belongs in the Smithsonian

Honestly (without reading it), you'll probably find more relevant and current data here.

I have it. As an engineer it is interesting. As a hobbyist I recommend Delbeek and Sprung Volume III.

You don't need Escobal to design a system. You could use it to do engineering analysis of aquarium components. He really does a good job on UV filters.

Since mid 90's myself.
Good explanations of turnover, dwell, heat transfer and head calcs. I like the paper/pencil/calculator approach to problems for a through understanding.
