aquaticeco Macro 150W Pendant

thinking of putting 1 over my 20 gal tank and 1 over the 30 gal tank too. get myself some clams and what nots

I have 2 of them and have had them running about 2 years with no problems on either. The good deal is b/c I don't think they are carrying that light anymore so whatever is left is on sale to clear out inventory :)

Wow, thats not a bad deal! Would two of them over a 55L work for a frag tank? Ill have to make sure hubby sees this thread.

These would work fine, but you might want to go with a tank that is wider and not so tall as a 55G. 12" height should be as high as you'll ever need for a frag tank.

Craig, I guess its just the decent deal on the 55. Would I be able to utilize the depth of the 55, to create different levels, which could grow things on each shelf, starting with things that need the most light the highest? Have seem some really nice tanks with frags already in them, trying to create a tank that is more for just pure grow out, ie I have 2 zoo colony's I want to keep just for the sake of spreading and fragging. Plan on sticking to mostly softies to begin with, or any coral I can pick up cheap.

The middle sentence was confusing. I have seen tanks that seem to just hold frags, but I want a tank for more of growing out things. Not sure how to grow out zoos beside placing rocks next to colonies.

I bought two about 8 months ago and have had to rewire them BOTH due to wires buring up and melting together. Yuck yuck yuck!!! Quality issues. They are now in a landfill somewhere.
