aquired Sun Polyp rescue project

I fed mine NLS for over a year with no issues, and then as soon as it would smell the garlic in the water when I would feed the fish tentacles would come flying out all puffed up. I personally haven't seen a LPS that has an active feeding response turn NLS down. Hard air line tube is much easier to feed with, you can control where the pellets go very easily. Tweezers sounds like a big PITA.

ok past 2 nights tried feeding in a bowl. Tonight I took extreme measures.. took a pair of tweezers took the mysis shrimp and help it on the mouth until it took it in. Did this with several of the polyps and seems like it took it in and kept it in.. they are now puffed up like they want more, still no tentacles gonna do it again and hope for the best tomorrow night.

and tweezers are a bing PITA =( but I dunno why i am so determined to save this $10 peice of coral lol

Being in this hobby should mean more than just keeping fish and corals in a cube full of water. Most of us on here have a hi affection towards keeping these critters and trying to re-create their environment, keeping them alive, and learn from them. I mean come on! who's crazy enough (besides us) to spend big bucks like we do to keep fish alive . That's dedication and love for what you do! keep up the good work.
