aragonite sand for reptiles or silica free play sand?

Getting ready to set up my new 120 and need to get some sand for it. Was kinda looking around the internet trying to find a cheaper alternative to what I 've seen at the stores. Havent really found anything cheaper, but am curious if either/both of these would work in an aquarium.

I know someone who used Reptilite aragonite sand in his 10 gal without any problems. It's made by Carib Sea so I bet its the same exact aragonite sand they market for the reef crowd.

I have about 80lbs of the silica free sand from the home depot. I layered that under 50lbs of sand in my 125 with 10lbs in my sump. Been running for over a year with no problems
