*from Buffalo*

Thruway to 490 East. Take exit 4 and make a left onto Route 259. About 8.7 miles up turn left on West Ridge Rd/104. 1.5 miles up on your right is Marine Oasis at 5340 W Ridge.

When leaving MO, turn East (left) onto W Ridge Rd and drive 12.5 miles (turns into expressway), take the exit for Goodman St and make a left onto Goodman. Turn right on East Ridge Rd and .7 miles up is The Reef Shoppe at 1969 East Ridge Rd. (You will see an orange & white sign on the side of a building for them. Turn in there and drive down behind the building as the store is in back on the lower level.)

When leaving there, turn East (right) onto East Ridge Rd, .2 miles up make a right onto Culver Road. 1 Mile up Culver you make a left onto Bursen Street. Caribbean Forest is on your left at 24 Bursen St.

Leaving Caribbean Forest, turn left back onto Culver and at that traffic light make a left onto Norton. 2.9 miles up merge onto 590South. (No option for North here anyways) Get in far left lane of 590 and use that lane to exit to 490 East. Take exit 25/Route 31F East and turn slight right onto 31F. 2.2 miles up turn left on Baird Rd and then a slight right onto Whitney Rd West. ABC Pets is on your right at 581 Whitney Rd West.

The least confusing way back to Buffalo from that point is probably to go back the way you came by going left on Baird Rd, right onto 31F and hop on 490 East to the Thruway.

*If anyone has a better route, by all means feel free to post it. :)

Wow, that was a great trip! The fam went along for the ride and we got to see some great stuff!

First stop was ABC Pets - really nice folks and surprisingly large number of corals for a mom and pop style shop (plus some very cool 20 gallon rimless tanks!)

Next stop was Caribbean Forest - very impressive! Great collection of corals with excellent variety and great coloring. The prices were a little bit higher, but the variety was outstanding! IMO the small premium is worth it due to the huge selection! The staff was unbelievable personable, and very willing to frag larger pieces to get the price down a bit. We took home an unusual colored frog spawn - whitish green with blues almost transparent before the tipped heads!

Last stop was the Reef Shoppe. After parking and looking at the front door we thought someone had been pulling our chain. Once we got in the place is extremely impressive. The place is huge with some of the nicest corals I have ever seen. Tons of large pieces with a large price tags. The staff was friendly, though I though Caribbean Forest was much more personable. Although I thought the pieces were amazing, I prefer the small/medium pieces from Caribbean Forest.

By the time we got home we had three varieties of Frogspawn with us which is looking great in the tank!

A nice Saturday if I may say so!

ok guys...let's play nice.....everyone is entitled to their own opinion. We are all friends here.

Considering you poured the gas on the flames, I find your post ironic.

The he said she said BS stops now. The next person who tries to get it going again will be given a time out. No further warnings will be given.
