Are 6045 streams controllable with 7095/7096 Controllers?

Are 6045 streams controllable with 7095/7096 Controllers? I was thinking of putting one on each end of my Oceanic 120 gallon tank. Since it is only 48" long, I don't think it can handle the high output streams. I want gentle water movement over the live rock, not a flesh stripping torrent which is why I am thinking about the nano's and just the middle of the road model.

If the 6045 is not controllable, then what is would be a good recommendation for a 48"wide and 24"deep foot print tank for getting flow.

I am interested in various opinions. Roger is, of course, enjoying the holiday and has his computer turned off for the weekend so JarHead and all the others, if you are lurking about, share your thoughts!

The only controllable nano is the 6055. Really your best best for that tank is 2 6105s with the 12v jumper setting which puts the max flow at 1849gph or using the 18v jumper and maybe dialing the max flow down a bit with the controller if higher is desired. Nanos are best left to smaller tanks really. You would likely want 3 or 4 of the 6055s if you went that route.

Chiller is working A-okay. I had it plumbed backward which caused the air to trap on the temp probe. Switched it around and it is working away for me.

I'll want to talk with you more about these streams when I can get some face time with you. No need to go into a big posting string on them. Your time is better spent elsewhere!

More later and thanks for checking in,

Mike
