Are all isopods evil?

I recently purchased some rock from Gulf Live Rock and found an isopod that has survived the cycle. It seems to stay in one place on the rock and only moves about an inch in any direction. It looks to be picking at the rock and I can see it's legs moving but I thought they were all parasitic or carnivores? Below is a picture but it's really hard to get a good one.


I am wondering if I should remove it or leave it be? I would hate to have it attach to the clowns that will be going in the tank but have to admit, it would be super cool if it was one of these:

Thank you, I compared this one to the ones in the article and it most closely resembles the algae eating species. It says they usually don't survive so we shall see. I'm going to keep an eye on it and try to get a better pic.
