Are allardi clowns rare in the hobby?

ahhh, touche salesman, touche.

I was focusing more on the face, dorsal shape and eyes. I now agree with you, especially the white on the caudal I missed and the forked tail. I was looking at the wrong end.

What is the captive bred look? Oh, and what distinguishes ORA from others?

Here is a pic of the allardis I used to have. They're now in another member's tank.

Like Jordan said, in a nutshell, it's all about coloration/pattern. They're both of the clarkii complex, so you are not going to get any major physical differences from one species to another.

I see it now. I can't believe I didn't notice the tail. Well, a curious question turned into a proper species identification, can't complain there!

thanks for the input guys.
