I was cosidering getting a MAgnifica but the experts ensure me it is only for the pros so will any BTA do for a pair of Ocellaris and should I consider size when purchasing??

Ocellaris will not bond with long tentacles or Haitian or candy anemones
bubble tip or carpet anemones will be a great host for Ocellaris clowns, sebae is also good but rather hard to care for, but not as hard as the MAgnifica, if the clown fish are a true matted pair they will share the anemone, if not then one will dominate so you need to get a large one,

I have seen people have better luck getting an ocellaris to move into a very large bta. So find one that is 8-12 inches and you might get them to accept a bta.

You can't say a clown Won't host something, its all a matter of time, the instinct is there, its whether or not it comes out...Many ocellaris here on RC will host just about anything, PreFilters, overflows, Mag floats. BTA's are often chosen by new hobbiest because of their hardiness, ease of care, and they are the most accepted by most species of clowns. When you get a BTA, make sure it is atleast 3X bigger than the clown.

Due to you having a RSM, I would go with a good old BTA, the rsm has 2 55w PC's not T-5's like they claim. BTA's are hardy and can tolerate lower light levels, I would just make an effort to feed it a little more often. If not once a week, once every 2 weeks would be appropriate.

Yes but be sure that the anemone is quite large
about twice the size of the clown's length in all directions
