I have a pair of maroon clowns that have been together in my tank for 6 months. I have a piece of tile in the tank under their anenome and the female clown will get right on top of it and swish her tail really fast. I dont know if she dosent like it or is cleaning it off? Does any one know what could be happening?
Are clowns gettin ready to lay eggs?

they often clear around their nem so it's not necessarily brood cleaning, if she didn't like it she'd try to move it with her mouth, my female pushed a 2 lb rock with a huge Monti Cap about 8" across the tank out of her 'zone' by opening her mouth as wide as she could against it and swimming with all her might.
