Cowfish get big, REALLY BIG, and will require more than your 80 listed.
While most are fairly coral safe (there are exceptions) you can find many other problems when keeping cows.
They are best in a large species planted tank.
personally, i do not consider them reef safe. I know people keep them in reefs (Christhiam has a beautiful one in a beautiful reef), but they are just as likely to go after lps, crabs, tubeworms, anemones, etc.
so far so good with mine. Doesn't pick at anything, just tube worms (But I can't really tell if it eats anything because the worm will come out again). I have it for about 5 or 6 months, it's grown quite a bit and likes to eat mysis, brine, nori, red algea, frozen forumal 1 and 2. Won't eat flake or pelets. Very personable fish. Randy Holmes got one for over 2 years in his reef.
