Are Lawn mowers reef safe?

Can anyone tell me if lawn mower blennies are reef safe. I see mine picking at my corals and I wonder if he's eating algae or actually eating the coral?

I have had for one 8 months now and he never bothers a single coral. I watch mine all the time. Yours is probably eating the algae off the LR and such.

they are reef safe probably just eating algae, though i've heard they may nip at clams but no real damage.

I have clams and several corals, sps and softy. Never any problems with my blenny.

My lawn mower blenny was a gem and never harmed any corals. I now have a starry blenny and he's been just as good.
