Are Melafix and Primafix safe for a clams?

Did anybody try to use Melafix and Primafix in the tank with clams? Any problems?

I have half-year old T. maxima(s) in the tank with the corals, that may need treatment, if situation will not improves by itself.

Wanted to ask if there may be any consequences for the clams -better be safe, then sorry, you know...

even though those products are labeled as "reef safe" i wouldn't use them in your reef tank. if your trying to treat bacterial or fungal infections on a fish, remove the fish to a QT/hospital tank and treat it there.

i have called API before and they said that they have had reports of success in reef tanks from consumers however they have not been able to reproduce the effects in their tanks
