I started with 1 RBTA the pic with marron clown, and now have 3 they look great, they eat 3 times a week, and the clowns are as happy as can be. If they are i guess as long as they keep eating and looking the way they do thet the ball rollllllll! All pics are in gy gall! :bum:

By the way, I think I have a clone of the same anemone. I bought it from Del. Del said he bought it from A.A in Greely also about the same time as you. Thats been about 3-4 years ago. Any way, it looks the same as yours.

I havent done any thing to them! They were the darker rose color then they split and look that way. o well as ling as they are happy and eating. FishnWishin could you pot a pic of yours in the 140 cube that sounds like a cool tank set up. Is that all you have in there?

Definately look like they were dyed. Here is a pic of my RBTA. He is starting to get his color back. When I got him from the LFS he was slightly bleached...

Those arent dyed. RBTA's actually look pink when they are starved. A nice color, but not at all good for the anemone.

Feed it silversides, mysis, shrimp, good clean water, lighting and flow, and I can gaurantee you those anemones will be back in gear in no time.

I feed them 3 times a week a mix between scallops, blood worms, brine, and frsh squid. So don't think that they are starved. My lighting is 2x250 on a 46 bow front. I have a 15 tall refugium

They have lost their zooxanthellie. Maybe the stress of splitting or something else. As long as they are eating, just keep up what you are doing. They will regain their symbiotic algae in a couple months.

Yep, they're bleached but just keep on feeding 'em and they'll be good as new in no-time (well, maybe six'ish months).

This is what a healthy RBTA should look like immediately after split:

On a side note; Phender, I actually went to high school for a semester in Yorba Linda... perhaps you taught me at one point though that would have been quite a while ago ;).
