Are Pacific White Shrimp a good food source for mantis?

Anybody know if Saltwater Feeding Shrimp - Penaeus vannemei - also known as Pacific White Shrimp are any good as Mantis food? I generally feed hermits and snails, but the shrimp from this site (http://www.marinedepotlive.com/safeshva.html) seem a good price. However, I'm not totally sure these are a great food source. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Ken

Looks ok but i'd keep them in a separate tank and gut load 'em. Dr. Roy would know better, but I imagine that a varied diet would be better, but including them is probably ok. Definatly a good find for frog, fu manchu, and small pred owners too.

Those are a great idea for Mantis Shrimp owners as well. My only current mantis is pretty small (and doesn't harrass the mithrax or the hermits much, so he might not care about a shrimp either...look out of you are a snai, though!), so i doubt that these would be a good food source for him, but i am getting an O. Scyllarus, a P. Cilata and at least 1 other larger smasher in the next few months, so these seem like a great deal. I may also get a Lion Fish, and I'm sure that he/she would like them as well.

As well, provided that they are at least decent looking, they might make an OK addtion to a reef in and of themselves?
