Are purple firefish shy?

I've heard that purple firefish can be shy, if i got like 3 of them would they maybe come out more? The tank is a 90 gallon and I plan on having-
1 yellow tang
1 light blue chromis
2 percula clownfish
1 sleeper blue dot goby
1 yellow clown goby
1 tail spot blenny

Would 3 purple firefish make the bioload too high and will they be very shy or will they come out? Maybe if i put them in first for like a week alone? Thanks!

3 purple firefish wouldn't be much far as adding to your bioload, but they are very shy, i would put them in a tank with livestock that would be compatable
(none aggressive fish) then they would come out more together. looking at the list of fish i wouln't add the tang it will be the most aggressive, with the rest after time they will come out more.

Three firefish are unlikely to get along. A mated pair would get along.

For what its worth, my purple firefish is very outgoing with my wrasse and clownfish. He does hide more when the lights are out but when they are on he is front and center most of the time.

Once they get settled in they are fine. Took mine a couple week until it was out all the time. Id only go with 1 or 2 though.

i have one for over a year now, and for the first 2 months of having him i saw him maybe 5 times, now he comes out rarely if its not feeding time. when i feed though he usually comes out rather quickly. he is a real pretty fish although im hoping to get rid of him when i set up my new tank.

i got 3 and they are always out when the lights are on. and my tangs(yellow,purple,brown) dont seems to bother them...

If they get scared. They might just bury themselves and disappear.

I have a pair in my 120 with a Sailfin Tang, Sunburst Anthias, Flame Hawkfish, and Flame Angel.

They are out and about often. I don't have much of a sandbed (about 1"), and they scoot in a hole if the other fish spook them. They seem pretty content hanging 6-8" under the other fish at feeding time just waiting for scraps the Tang, Angel, and Hawk leave.

They are great fish and I love watching them interact. Occasionally, one will 'disappear' for just about the whole day, but comes out sooner or later.
