Are there any Apex experts in the house?

Hello, everyone. Finally got the tank set up, with water and salt even. Now I have another challenge that should not be this difficult. I can't seem to get a network connection with my Apex in order to generate a token so that I can utilize Fusion. I have done everything from checking the hard wiring to checking an rechecking IP, DNS server, DHCP server numbers to make sure they match that of the router and I am still stuck.:deadhorse:

Thanks, Rich

I recently set mine up by just following the setup intructions provided by Apex. It must be hard wired to a good internet connection.

The set up for me has been quite frustrating:headwally:

I have followed the instructions from the Neptune Quick Start Guide. The correct lights are displayed on both the router and ABU showing an internet connection. The DHCP server is on and generates the matching IP, Gateway and DNS #'s to that of the router which is hardwired into the ABU.

I no longer get Apex Fusion: Down but now get Apex Fusion: OK and get nothing except a "beep" when the center button is pressed on the display.

I bought the control unit a while ago from greenhead second hand, and it has been sitting. Before I bought it, it was working for him.

I would recommend checking the apex user forum. They helped me when I was having issues. I would try turning off the apex, then back on. That worked for me. Or do the reset through network connection. Or both.

Did you reset the apex before you started using it?

If you reset it, you can get the correct link ID, by opening a web browser and typing in the IP address of the apex unit itself.

Then go to fusion, sign up and use the link ID to connect it to your account, and begin setup.

Thanks jwolcott and cflow,

System->Init memory->All

A system reset was the answer. Works like a champ now and my forehead is safe.:bounce2:
