are there any boat/RV shows around Buffalo/Hamburg this weekend

Not this weekend. Think there's one the last weekend of February at the Bills' Field House. Isn't the Rochester Boat Show this weekend?

Lookin' for an RV Clark? er I mean Gary?

Real men (and ladies) camp in tents :lol2:

In all seriousness, as I've done tent camping with my friends/bf, the pop up and RV with the family, as long as you're outside camping and having a good time, doesn't matter how you do it!!!!

now yer talkin!

now yer talkin!

and yes MD girl...... I agree with you entirely.

We used to tent until a train shook the earth @ 3AM while at the Watkins Glen KOA.

(And yes.... I HATE KOA's)

I think Donnie Baker still has a boat for sale.

I'm not the biggest fan of KOA's either Gary.

My family has always camped in some sort of popup or RV because my Dad's back is too messed up to sleep on the ground. Plus, my parents love being gone for weeks at a time, so a fridge and a real bed are a plus for them. :)

With being in school and being poor (lol) tenting is the way to go. My favorite tent camping trips have been 5 days this past summer in Vermont...my bf and I camped on the side of Mt. Mansfield, and last winter when he and I camped out with some friends overnight in -10 degree weather :wildone:

not my cup of tea!

not my cup of tea!

tenting in -10 degree weather might be fun if there are other bodies you want to snuggle next to :spin3:

Lol, it was a blast. My bf and I (though not dating at the time) were very well prepared for the weather. Guess it was meant to be :love1: Multiple layers, mummy bags, tons of extra socks....though instead of using the mummy bags, we zipped two 0 degree bags together and put hand warmers in there....we were so toasty you could have slept in regular pjs :D

A huge fire, a case of beer and a few bottles of whiskey, plus some awesome food, including pulled pork, chicken and rice stew, and eggs, bacon, and coffee in the am topped off the whole adventure. Oh, plus one of our friends dancing half naked around the fire while drunk off his butt.

Though I will admit going to bathroom outside in -10 degree weather was NOT fun...

That definitely ****es me off too Gary. The whole point of camping is to get away from the every day crap, including TV. There's hardly anything good on TV anymore anyway. I'd rather sit and drown worms all day fishing than sitting in the RV watching TV when I'm out camping.
