Are there no predators for bubble algae?

sometimes emerald crabs work.
Desjardin red sea sailfin tangs (has to be Desjardin not the common one) are said to eat it also but you need a big tank and they are expensive.

I dunno if an urchin would eat it or not.
I got rid of mine once by putting caulerpa all over it lol but then if you don't have something to eat the caulerpa that could be a problem. Caulerpa kept it from getting light and used up the nutrients.

emerald crab

In my experience they're useless if you have any signifigant amount of bubble algae.

Try a Rabbit Fish. If you look at my red house
all the macro algea is gone. My rocks are clean.

Maybe I got lucky but I have one small (although getting bigger) emerald crab that I watch sit and eat bubble algae all day. I have more in my tank than he can handle but he eats it non stop. My only problem with him is his alarming rate of growth. Not sure I want a 2 inch crab in my tank. Although right now he is only the size of a quarter
