are these babies??

now have two batches of fry. 3 very pregnant males . one appears in labor but look premature very small. have seen this before. is this common ? i am not wasting my time chasing these this time. but i have also seen this before a new batch of babies. is this pre-labor, or a seahorse that is having problems with birth? thanks, Ray

It is not uncommon for a seahorse to let a few fry go before the whole brood goes. Not sure if this is what you are saying.
