As above is the second pic just a mature adult or a different species. The fish is around twice the size of the first fish but were being sold as the same species.
thats a good question,mine are around 1 1/2-2 inches,still look the same as the first picture,have seen them bigger,but they still look the same,I think its a differant type.....my opinion?
top fish is a threadfin blue eyed cardinal aka Ghost cardinal (Apogon leptacanthus)...I have no idea on the second, but taking a guess it looks like a humpback cardinal which is from the same family Apogon.
Thanks i didn't think they were the same as the body shape looks different as well. The top ones are what we've always seen as ghost cardinals. The others seem just as peaceful and shoal with them happy enough.
