Are these bristle worms?

Are these bristle worms or what are they? And are they safe for a reef tank?

Im getting alot of them.. Started in my refugium chaeto area... Now their in my tank. Not sure what they are or if I should try to remove them asap.

Looks like bristle worms. Not sure if good to have....I've always been told to get rid of them.

Yes looks like them. They are great scavengers and in my opinion good to have. Just make sure you wear gloves whenever working in the tank or the sump area. You do not want to touch them. Trust me!

+1 bristle worms also I love bristle worms in my tank great scavengers wish I had more just do not touch

That answers whats in my tank! We caught a few last night, looks exactly the same except mine are bigger! Ive heard mixed reviews- some people want them some don't... Personally I feel better NOT having them. They creep me out and were working to get rid of ours. Just added an arrow crab yesterday to pick off the nasty suckers.

They are great scavengers and they eat dying animals, hence they get sometimes confused to kill fishes.
