Are these Dinos?

Been fighting some brown hair in my tank, that's exactly what they look like brown hair. They don't get bubbly and don't look like snot. My snails do not die either. I tried h202 dosing with a 4 hour photo period, they went away only to come back a week later. I tried 48 hours lights out and dosed h2o2 followed by a water change, they went away for 5 days and now they're back. Here's a pic, the string coming off the bleached acro.

It sure looks like Dino's to me. I would be careful with hydrogen peroxide. I lost several coco worms and a couple other filter feeders when dosing h2o2. Its also really hard on anemones. With that said h2o2 was the only thing that rid my tank of Dino's when I had it a couple of years back.

How did you go about dosing h2o2? Did you turn off your skimmer, take carbon out, reduce light period, etc?

Looks like the start to me. Best way I cleaned my tank of them was to raise ALL to 11 and maintain it there. Also go to ace hardware and get vyinle tubing that is slightly larger than air tubing and siphon it out. I also recommend a WC and microbacter. Remember to turn your skimmer off for several hours if you use the microbacter.

I dosed the h2o2 with a syringe and I slowly injected it into my sump. I increased skimming, gfo, and carbon. No water changes and reduce photo period.

1ml of h2o2 per 10 gallons of water.

Sent you a PM regarding a great thread that I found..

I got your PM and they did block it, lol. But I found the thread. I tried the 1ml per 10 gallons and that didn't work, so I did 2ml per gallon for almost 2 weeks and that did nothing. Only thing that worked was 48 hours with no lights while dosing 6ml h202 (tank is 30 gallons total) and they went away for 5 days. Maybe I should of held out on the water change after the lights out period? For those who have succesfully killed dino's with h2o2, did you reduce your photo period? Also did some testing yesterday,

Po4-0.00 (Hannah Checker)
Nitrate-0 (Red Sea)
Alk-9.0 DKH
Cal-385 PPM
Mag-1360 PPm
SG-1.027

What's really gets me, is the dino problem started after I switched my RO pre filters and DI resin to spectrapure. Don't know if was just coincidental as i'm still getting, 2 TDS after the RO and 0 TDS after the DI.

So I did a 72 hour no lights while dosing h2o2 at over twice the recommended dosage. I kept on the h2o2 five days after the lights out period. Whatever it is I'm fighting went away for a few days but now it's back. Not as bad as last time though. I siphoned what I could out today. In the tank they looked just like brown hair and the bucket this what they turned into

Can someone get a positive ID from this pic? If these are Dino's, why aren't my snails dying?
