Hello:
My tank is about 4 months old (14G BioCube) and it currently only has four corals in it (2 mushrooms, a torch coral, and some pink zoanthids). I bought a Fiji Blue Devil Damsel over the weekend but returned him/her to my LFS because I felt the tank was too small. Some guides say 10G is okay for this type of fish but others say 30G is preferable. He/she seemed to be very unhappy in the tank banging against the sides and darting all over the place (although I know they're aggressive fish so maybe that was just normal behavior).
Anyway, I've noticed what looks like maybe fish eggs on various parts of my live rock. There are about 12 or so of these bb-sized eggs and I've included two photos (sorry for the quality).
So, if these are eggs what will happen to them since there are no male fish in the tank to fertilize them?
BTW, I'm going to add one or two nanofish to the tank in a few more days...probably two neon blue gobies. Is it possible they'll try to fertilize them if they're male? Am I going to end up with a Fiji Blue Devil Neon Goby Super Aggressive fish of some sort??? :eek1: :eek1: :eek1:
