Might be flat worms that you have and they are not the same. THe flat worms I have I too thought were red bugs at first but was told after having people come over and look that they were actually flat worms.

The flat worms I have are never on any coral and have not harmed anything.

Not really needed. Over time and experimentation, people have found double, triple, quadruple (you get the idea) dosing still does not harm the corals or fish. It simply kills the bugs faster. I didn't even use a scale when I treated, just cut the pill into rough quarters and went from there. Whether you dose exactly to the milligram or quintuple dose, your bugs and crabs are toast so it really doesn't matter.

IME, YMMV...etc..etc...

Oh and I agree...those are red bugs..not flatworms.

hey Mike

are these things very mobile? I saw some orange specs that were kind of swirling over a tricolor acro . it was while I fed cyclopeze so Im not convinced they were bugs.

Yep...they can be pretty speedy. They're not like a flatworm slug and slow moving.

Can anyone post a picture? how do flat worms look like? I try to do a research and got RC famous serve busy message. Thanks.
