Are these spots coraline? Need to ID

I've been getting these spots on the live rock which looks like coraline but I haven't been able to see another picture of anything like this to confirm. The tank is newer and I'm getting some pink spots on the glass but have these weird greenish brown spots popping up and growing.

I've heard of coraline starting green then changing to pink/purple and just want to know what it is good or bad? Hoping it changes to pink but that might be wishful thinking ha.

Thanks for the help!

doesn't look like coraline to me but i guess it could be, would say coraline usually doesnt show up in tanks before i would say 7 months to a year. Ive heard of it faster but usually shows up in tanks with meticulous water parameters.

Thanks for the input. Hmm I’m definitely getting purple spots popping up on the glass which I know is coraline. As far as these dark green/brownish spots any other ideas?

if its hard like the pink/purple spots then it is probably coraline. I dont think it changes from green to pink/purple - there is just different colors of it. pink/purple is more common IMO

If the tank is newish, then it's not bad either way. It's just part of the tank doing its thing.

If you want to accelerate the growth of coralline, decent lighting and adding kalk (or pickling lime) to your topoff water (small amounts in the beginning) will get you plenty of coralline before you know it. My tank is about 3-4 months old now, and I'm seeing flecks of purple and pink coming in pretty strong (and I started with acid-washed rock and a clean cycle).
