Here's my issue,
I believe I may have purchased the same coral twice (again.. I may be a little impulsive). The coralites and colors look very similar and I bought both frags from the same vendor, but the branch growth pattern seems different. I figure if I break off a branch of one and put it on the other frag, I'll know if they're the same depending on whether they sting each other or not. But I'm not sure if all different acroporas sting each other. My experience is that yes, they do but I figured I'd ask just in case. Anyone witnessed two different acroporas NOT stinging each other? Also, how long does it normally take for acros to sting each other? I know the B specimen is not very aggressive as it has been growing 1/4 inches from another acro without any burns on either.
I'm space limited and if they're the same I'll just combine them. Here's pictures.
A - Unidentified look-alike, but has straight non-desalwilooking branches
B - 99.9% certain is a desalwi.
Side picture - they look different looked at sideways through glass with retracted polyps
Top-down - they look identical with a top-down view
