Are you guys quarantining your frags or just dipping them?

I can't believe how little information there is on the internet about quarantining corals. Looks like dipping just after acclimation is enough? Thoughts?

From my experience and mistakes dipping is not always enough a lot will come off but you can have a straggling bug hanging on for dear life. If you have the means to have a stand alone qt tank to watch them for a month or two to see of anything manifest during that time that would be best. I would do both to answer your question.

Just dealt with red bugs and living with monti eating nudi's by basting weekly or if I see them.

+1 on jetta!

Unfortunatelly i can't have a QT so i dip the corals, examinate and keep as much as possible from the sps skeleton only and throw the rock(basically dry it and keep it for future use).

there isn't a whole lot of info about QT'ing coral because a coral QT really is just a 2nd temporary (usually) fishless tank. there aren't all the hoops and hurdles that goes with QT'ing fish.

I personally QT all my non-Fish (coral, inverts, rock, etc) for 3 months before moving over to my DT.

I always dip with interceptor and revive prior to putting into QT. i used to dip on the way out to the DT too, but got lazy on that part... low risk anyway since i have observed for 3 months also anyway.
