Are you keeping your magnesium levels up? I found a new source.

No matter what kind of calcium and alkalinity supplementation you're using to help your LPS and SPS grow, you've also got to be mindful of keeping your magnesium levels elevated. You can actually have excessive calcium precipitation in your tank with not enough magnesium in your water, and this can quickly lead to pumps that freeze up, excess deposits in your water lines... not to mention calcium levels that drop quickly in between your supplementation.

Reef Central recommends you combine magnesium sulfate (common epsom salts available at Walgreens) with magnesium chloride, and www.bulkreefsupply.com has MagFlakes for about two bucks a pound plus shipping.

North American Salt Company makes a pure form of magnesium chloride (I am attaching the chemical analysis and MSDS information). I will be buying a 50 lb bag, and if anyone is interested I will sell it for a buck a pound.
