Interesting, I saw one for sale on CL. Add's not mine, I just thought I read somewhere they were rare and happend to see the add in CL.

Thats a decent price. There looks to be some green on the edge of the mantle though. The black and whites that I have seen have no color other than black and white but i've never seen green either.

ah. first time I've seen them. mostly heard of them.

The one's you saw on CL are not pure black and white. I noticed the turquois trim on the edge. They may turn color in time since it's hard to tell if they are actually black at white at that age.

A true black and white is much more expensive than $100, that's for sure.

The design is also another factor.

Nah, I'm happy with my 1 blue maxima ( baby ). Not enough space for 2 in a 37 gal cube.

I saw one very similar to the one you're talking about over at ocean treasures. When seen in person it's more like a very dark brown then black in color.

The only true black maxima's come from Vanautu.

Anywhere else, it may still be a baby and colors have yet to develop.
