my tank is 80*36*28 high with a 55*30*19 sump. its been up and running for the past 2 years. skimmer ATB 10.5 delux and I dose cal,mag,alk. use red sea coral pro salt since the start of this tank.

my coral have always been very slow growers after testing my po4 at .78 I set up a bio pellet reactor (all in one bio pellets) this has been running for the past 6 months which dropped my po4 from .78 to .35
as a result my corals growth got a bit better and the coral's color got better but I started to get algae growth on my sand bed and live rock (red slime) and hair algae on my back glass.
after reading about the arid reactor I felt it was a cheaper choice in the long run to keep my po4 and no3 at low levels. I picked up a c30 a few months back. Its been set up for a week light are on 12 hours a day and the cheato has tripled is size in the first week water seems clearer and my po4 went from .35 to .27(hanna)
I dose iron for the cheato. I have not tested my no3 but will once my po4 is down to .15
I shut off the bio pellet reactor once I saw the cheato growing I will update this thread as I see changes in my tank.
