Has anyone dove the circle of tanks? - I will have to dig through my stuff for the coordinates but I believe they are off Hernando county

I think 6 old army tanks situated in a circle with depts 60 to 90ft

Thought it would be a cool dive - just looking for feedback

just got back from the army tank dive and well after 40 min of looking still couldnt find them i blame the captain lol my buddy,, but did find alot of culverts and some kinda 40 ft barge thing so it was real cool and 31-37 ft of water was good for my 1st dive all in all had alot of fun bit viz was bad but was soo exiting. my buddy sucked all his air up real quick so i went by myuself for a extra 15 min. probally a bad idea for a beginner but hey i paid for that air lol

I've done that dive out of New Port Richie a couple of times. The tanks are in formation it seems defending the coast in about 25' of water. The hatches have been removed and you can stick your head or legs (sans fins) in there but it would be difficult to remove your gear and get inside. I had a picture taken with me in the pose that the German commander in the original "Battle of the Bulge" when going up the hill after the fuel depot. Heil!
There are quite a few of those M-60's distributed up and down Florida's coasts.
Was the barge about 25 miles out in about 65' of water? We were told that this was a russian that originally had everything on it. It's been stripped by divers in the 10 years it's been down there. When we were on it the wheelhouse was erect and the hold still had remnants of the cargo. There was a toilet and the prop was still attached. We suprised several large wahoo and a couple of nurse sharks.
