ARO vs Icecap 175watt?

Is there a big difference between these ballast? If so does anybody have a reasoning and preference of these or maybe a better electronic ballast? Thanks. I will be running 175w 15k Iwasaki's

If you go to Sanjay's site and compare the two ballasts on the bulbs that are tested on both ballasts, you'll quickly find that the numbers are virtually identical.

Numbers are identical.

But from experience, Icecap customer service is over the top. I've never used ARO to know, but you will be hard pressed to find anyone unhappy with service from IC; they are great.

The ARO can run 150w hqi and 175w bulbs does anyone if the icecap can as well? I know icecap also makes a 150w specific ballast.

The ARO 150/175 is awesome. It will run most 150 watt bulbs at higher output than a 150 watt "only" e-ballast. I have a hunch that the Ice Cap 175 is the same as the ARO 150/175 but I dont know for sure and I wouldn't risk running 150 watters on the IC 175. But the ARO 150/175 is a great ballast (so far) from my limited experience with it.
