Roger,

God is great, someone cancelled their order at MD (good for me, bad for you) and I am getting my 6000 on friday  Where should I place the pump in the tank? Should I place it on the back corner and blow counter corner? Should I have it go full spead while I save for the other 6000 and Multicontroler?

Bad for the guy who cancelled his order! We sell more than is available and this goes for most of the product line so it doesn't hurt me too much- I am only one person and have another job too. You can adjust the speed on the computer- you just can't pulse it. I would agree with your installation but if you need you will be able to turn it down. God is great- but patience is a virtue!

Roger,
Thanks, Do you recommend for me to have it as full speed as possible? Try to redirection it if it starts to blow things around? But keep it as high as possible?

Oh man, I hate you Meican Hermit!! I am still waiting on my pair of 6000s and multicontroler from Marine Depot. I'm beginning to think that they drink beer more often than they work over in Germany! Maken zee pumps no drinkum zee beer!

The problem with the 6000 is it shares the same motor block as th 6100. The factory closes for Christmas holidays. You have to understand that over 500 6100 Streams were sold before they were even made- when the Prototype was shown in May. Over Christmas a flood of faxes came in and put the factory nearly 700 units behind. They are now nearly caught up on 6100's but things have to be done in order. When you only have 32 employees and maybe half are in production and the other half are clerical, catalogue and advertisng and shipping and recieving it does limit production. By the end of summer a new injection molding machine will come on line and the parts suppliers are now able to keep up with the demand. It will improve but it does take a few months to grow as a company. I think Tunze is the only German company that is gaining market share- a whopping 15% per year. It is alot of growth for a small company. If your LFS had that growth you would have long waits in line and their would be general chaos for a while- it is the same at Tunze. We also have to devote a tremendous amout of research and time to further innovation- we may drink beer but even over beer we are still thinking and working. The Stream is just a begining and we have some remarkable innovations just around the corner. We make maximum 250 Electronic pumps per week and these pumps go to 8 products sold in 32 countries and counting- they are also used industrially to seperate oil from water in oil spills. Just be patient- your pumps will come and we will get caught up. I have worked with Tunze for a few years now and these hick ups happen- everything smoothes out eventually. The pumps are hand assembled and tested a minimum of twice before they are packed and shipped- the lady who does this testing is extremely meticulous. I worked under her for a few hours and I had a few pumps she didn't like and I had to do them all over and hand machine some pieces to eliminate a slight humming noise. It is worth the wait. If you aren't too far back in line some pumps will go out next week but only a few to each vendor.

Thanks Roger. Mexican Hermit, if I am patient will I become a tunze stream knight? Will I be able to use the force of the sea?

You will own the force of the sea:) Just give us some time I have gotten more Stream pumps this month than I have any other month this year- they are caught up and European demand is lighter in the summer. Hopefully it won't be too much longer.

Chris,

You can not buy the force but you can can feed it. Be patient my young Padawa Learner. The force will be here before you know it.

(The stream will be here in 20 minutes) :D :D :D :D
