arrow crab in a 24g AP

I'm thinking of getting one for bristleworm control. Some of these buggers are getting HUGE. Please share your opinion on this. Do you guys think he will attack anything in a 24g other than bristleworms?

Probably will terrorize the entire tank; you'd have slightly better luck with a coral bandit shrimp and they eat bristles with just as much vigor.

They are not reef safe. From what I've read about them they can and will attack inverts and small fish. I've seen a Arrow crab rip a peppermint shrimp in half.

bristle worms are our friends. They are just detrious eaters. I know a guy that keeps one that is 24" or so in a 55. it live in the same tunnel as a goby/shrimp pair. i see the worm come out to grab food when he feeds. They dont need to be killed.

yeah I know the argument, but I just can't have humongous bristleworms running around in a small tank like mine. Especially when they are reproducing unchecked, irritating all of my zoa colonies at night. They are good, but their population needs to be kept in check.

there are two different kind of coral bandits. the tan or gold ones are reef safe but the white ones are definitly not reef safe. The gold ones are not as large and have a friendlier temperment also. Just thought you would like to know

You could get a frilly arrow crab... its not a terror like the regular arrow crabs. Stenorhynchus seticornis is what you want to look for, or 'decorator arrow crab'. They are very docile.
