Any one on here been to Aruba? We're trying to plan a trip but I want to go somewhere where the spearfishing is good. Is Aruba nice for this? Or Bali better?

Don't know about Bali but spear fishing in Aruba is illegal.

It's legal outside marine parks in Bali but you will have a hard time finding anything worth spearing as Indonesians eat a lot of fish.

You can go deep-sea fishing or better yet go wreck diving instead. BTW say hello to the family while you're there.

eh, i go fishing enough out here to do that. usually head out down past the border into mexican waters, or over at catalina. wreck diving will be cool, but id rather do some spearfishing.
