As my other thread seems locked-book?

Is there a book that has the picture and basic requirments of common corals in the hobby? I'd like something similar to the old "The Innes Book of Aquarium Fish". You young pups may not know that one but I'm SURE Capo would remember it. I have the set of books from Paul Humann which are great but I'd like something geared more toward the tank and husbandry. Any recomendations? Thanks!

Thanks for the recomendations so far. Anyone else have any others to add?

Please don't link me to another forum, seems to be a problem if you do

Does SLASH have a library where we can "checkout, borrow" books if need be? Even for a small fee?

I have about 4 Carribean and Bahama coral/invert/fish books laying around if you would want to borrow them scbadiver

I don't think we have a library but I like the idea. None of my books are at all current but I would share. Thanks geoxman!

I am sorry I got the other thread locked up.
I did not know or mean to violate the UA.

I sent a PM back to the mod that shut it down because I don't agree that a Encyclopedia is anything like a forum. There is not any advertising on their site. Maybe we can get some clarification or a reversal.

Sorry again Scbadiver.

No problem Homie! It happens. Hint, take it and lay down. Challenging mods usually doesn't end up pretty. Thanks.

We could create a list of books everyone has. That way members can know what is out there locally.

to borrow/trade/or sell if interested in a book

Good advise. I suggest you let it go and move on.

Ramtheory---start a new thread!
I have a series of 3 books called the reef set
1 reef coral identification
2 reef creature identification
3 reef fish identification

These are not cheap books so I would do a SLASH member only.

How could/would we set this up? I have read them and use them for reference but to loan them out to others might help. JLMK

I will talk to Greg about it. Probably run it thru the site forum and keep a list updated. Some more members can chime in if it should be a member's only. I am for it. I have some books as well to offer up. Those big expensive ones though would be tough to offer up. We can keep track of it out in the open on the site and if someone doesn't play fair and you see them out in the public. Another member could clubem for ya.

Yeah, Ol' Capo can take the "stealth balls" off his walker and poke some holes in da feets of the bad guys 'till they come up wit da goods.

Thanks for emphasising that it's off his walker, and that the holes will be in da feets. The other way I was thinking it I didn't want to read about! :)

Robbie,

It was said before but I use this one often
