asm g-2 skimmer

i have a g2 skimmer and i want to know what is the highest caliber seio i can put on this skimmer for maximum efficiency?

I would recommend against placing a SEIO on the skimmer, unless you plan on doing some heavy mods to the pump. The ASM skimmers are based on needlewheel pumps, the SEIO is a paddlewheel pump.

Is there a problem with the Sedra 3500 that came with it?

Here is what I would do (providing you have room in your sump):
recirc the Sedra 3500
add a MaxiJet 1200 as a feed pump
maybe even meshmod the Sedra

Definitely Mesh mod the Sedra (with Enkemat)

Mine is mesh modded and gate valved. Add the baffle for the sump and you will have one nasty skimmate. I wouldn't use any other pump with it. JMO

Recirc it and direct feed it from your overflow.
