ASM G2 problem

Okay I cleaned my PS with vinegar by running it through it for a full 24 hours....got it reassembled and not that it's up and running again...it's making a God awful lot of noise !!! Whats up?

The sound is a sloshing gurgling sound that disappears when I cover up the vertical rubber tube up the side of the skimmer?

It seems like a basic fix...any help please?

I have a G3 and mine makes the same noise. I think some skimmers come with a silencer on those tubes, but I havent found plans for a silencer yet. The ASM skimmers club thread is so huge and mostly needlewheel mods.
