ASM G4XX question??

I am looking at trading a used ASM G4XX skimmer for my ASM G3 with new Sedra 5000 with Feed pump mod. The G4xx has 2 mods, one mod is the mesh mod and the other mod is feed pump mod. My question is that the skimmer calls for a Sedra 15000 and this one comes with a Sedra 9000 pump.
Seeing how the Sedra pump is a recirculating pump and not a feed pump, now will this hurt the performance of the skimmer or should I just stay away from this deal all together?
