ok im gonna go ahead and drill my g-3 finally.just want to make sure my part list is right.
1 3/4"hole saw
1" uniseal for the pump(sedra 5000)
drain fitting
1/2"pipetap
last 2 are for the maxijet feed.i was gonna run one skimmer return as feed but guy at asmskimmer.com said he doesnt reccomend it.i know some of you have already done this so figured id run the list by all of you.
can i get the pipetap at any hardware store and is that the propern name so i dont look like a total idiot when i cant find it??!!

When I moded my G3 I ran one of my overflows to the shimmer to feed it. I just drilled another hole for a 1" uniseal about 2 1/2" below the black ring . worked great...
