how many reefers use a EUROREEF skimmer and how many use a ASM skimmer

I have a ASM G2 that i modded (gatevalve and recirc) and i gotta say this thing kicks up some serious "reef gravy." From what i've been told this comparison is like comparing "apples to higher priced apples".... both taste the same, both make great pies... some are just a bit shinier.

I vote for the ASM. This is my modded ASM G-3. It has the gate valve, recirc, and direct feed mods done. It's only been running for three days now. I love it, pulls out alot of skimmate.

So how many people are voting who have never owned either skimmer, or have just had one or the other?

Which ever skimmer you choose to get, I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

Make sure you read bothe the ASM Club and EuroReef Club threads on RC - they are both lengthy but will allow you to make a more informed decision. I considered all skimmers and in the final decison I focused on these two. I believe you will find ASM owners are satisfied with their ASM and the same true for ER owners. It appears ASM design is same concept as ER and uses less expensive materials and is reflected in the ASM price. As for the ER I own, I can say the construction and materials are outstanding. Good luck with this.
