Assess my tank!

Hey guys, I know it might be hard to do this just by looking at a picture, but can I get some feedback on how my tank looks thus far in its life?

Details - 4 months old / 24 Gal. / 80 deg. / 1.026 sal. / 2 occs / 2 skunk cleaners / bunch of snails / 2 scarlet herms.

As you may or may not be able to see, it looks like there is coraline starting to show up, but also a lot of green covering the live rock. It doesnt look like hair algae, but rather the desirable purple / pink is battling with the green to see which will take over. Maybe I'm just being a noob, but it would give me some peace of mind to hear your opinions!

This is kind of a lot to ask, so I thank you sincerely in advance for any info you can provide!

Methinks it's a natural progression of the tank maturing and establishing. My 75, when initially setup, went through diatoms, then green, then coraline started developing. IMHO tank is looking good.

The first stages of growth on the rocks in a new tank is that green film you see. If it won't scrub off it's ok. It's the initial stages of coralline algae. You'll see it on your glass more then your rock....maintain consistent ca,Dkh, and Mg and you will have coralline out your ears like my tank.

Cool, I know you are being very patient and conservative but I'd easily say you could start tucking in some cool soft corals, frogspawn is one of my first and favorites to add, hammer another.
3-4x the size of your clowns would be my advice in case they decide they like it, if you went that route.

So far in the early stages, your tank looks like it's properly maturing. Most important, it's clean and algae free.

If you have good coralline growth, them start doing some arm curls because your razor scraping skills will be put to the test if it takes off.

Here's a pic of what I call my "coralline problem"...spent 45 minutes scraping both pieces of side glass to get them clear last night.

Wow! Thanks, guys. This makes me feel a lot better, and I think I will start putting in some corals, as @davocean stated.

Also, @Mcgeezer, that is one beautiful tank! I hope I can get to where some of you are some day! Theres still so much to learn :/

This tank is only 16 months old...with proper husbandry, parameters, and a little love, Theres no reason why you can't have a tank like mine.
