I purchased a Mystery wrasse that I have had in QT for about 2 weeks and I am having a difficult time assessing its condition because it is constantly hiding. I have a piece of 3" PVC in the tank (10G) and the fish literally spends all day hiding behind the PVC. When I feed it will dart across the tank to grab a piece of food and then go back into hiding. Any thoughts on how I assess the health of the fish? Should I remove the PVC? It looks OK when I see it feeding but that is very quick and I don't really have time to examine its body. Thanks.
